Institutions holding Candidate for Accredited Status with the ECCE
This recognizes that an institution complies with the Eligibility Criteria for Candidate Status and is working towards full compliance with the ECCE Standards. The maximum period of time that an institution can hold Candidate Status is a total of 5 years. This period of time cannot be either extended or renewed. Candidate Status establishes a formal relationship between the Council and the institution. This route to Accredited Status however, is NOT mandatory.
