David Burtenshaw stepping down from the position of Executive Secretary
ECCE is sad to see the departure of David Burtenshaw from the role of Executive Secretary, a position he has held since 2001. David has an unparalleled knowledge of the workings of the ECCE from his experience as Council member, CoA member, Evaluation Team Secretary and Executive Secretary. His understanding of the processes of ECCE and quality assurance in higher education has helped to form ECCE to the organisation we know today. Prior to joining ECCE, David was the Director of Collaborative Programme Development at the University of Portsmouth from 1991 - 2000. Fortunately David will continue to serve ECCE in the capacity of Evaluation Secretary sharing his extensive experience and insight.
