Vacancy Announcement: teaching/administrative staff representative on the ECCE
Council (29/10/25)
The European Council on Chiropractic Education (ECCE) is
seeking to recruit one (1) additional representative from the teaching or
administrative staff of the member programmes (not more than one from a
programme) nominated by Members and elected by the Council, representing other
stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Council members are
expected to actively contribute to the Council’s tasks, including:
· Participating
in Council meeting.
· Ratifying
the results of the accreditation of chiropractor programmes.
· Making
decisions on business relevant to the operation of the ECCE.
Candidate Profiles:
· Candidates should
have broad expertise in Higher Education. Familiarity with quality
assurance processes, especially the European Standards and
Guidelines (ESG) for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area is
desired. Ideal candidates will bring experience in fostering academic
excellence and institutional improvement.
· Candidates should
have a professional profile aligned with the standards upheld by the Council
on Chiropractic Education International (CCEI), ensuring that chiropractic
educational programmes prepare safe and competent practitioners.
Commitment: Council members are required to
dedicate time for:
· Two
annual Council meetings. This can be
either an in-person or digital meeting.
· Additional
meetings via Teams if needed.
Compensation: This is not a salaried position.
An honorarium per day, as determined by the Council, will be provided. Travel
and accommodation expenses will be reimbursed according to ECCE’s financial
policies.
